Our Story
WoodFreakz started in our family home in San Antonio, Texas, as a small passion project between father and daughter.
While juggling a full-time college workload, I teamed up with my dad, James, to combine our creative skills and his CNC expertise. We started crafting handmade home decor, selling at local markets and on Facebook Marketplace, making every piece by hand in our garage.
As my studies became more demanding and my dad continued working at the VA, we shifted our focus to selling online. Before we knew it, we had processed over 4,000 orders on Etsy, shipping our handcrafted pieces to customers around the world.
What started as a side hustle quickly turned into something more.
In 2023, we set out to expand, transforming our garage into a full-fledged workshop. Between college classes and work, we framed, laid cement, and remodeled the space ourselves—building a dedicated shop where we could take our business to the next level. Now that we’ve fully transitioned out of our home, we’re focused on growing, refining our products, and expanding our lineup to bring even more unique, handcrafted pieces to our customers.
Our Mission
At WoodFreakz, we’re on a mission to blend traditional woodworking with modern technology to create high-quality, lasting products.
We believe in the integrity of solid wood construction—just like in the past, when things were built to stand the test of time.
By combining classic techniques with innovative tools, we craft unique pieces that honor tradition while embracing the future.
Our Process
At WoodFreakz, every product is made in-house, crafted by our own hands from start to finish. We begin with raw materials, carefully shaping and refining each piece to bring our designs to life.
Quality is at the core of what we do. Every edge is thoroughly sanded, every detail is inspected, and no order leaves our shop without meeting our high standards. We take pride in the craftsmanship behind each product, ensuring that what we create isn’t just beautiful but built to last.
From the first cut to the final finish, we pour our dedication into every piece—because to us, true craftsmanship is all about the details.
